Non Electronic Label Printing from the Active Site
RecordPoint now supports the ability to print the labels from the Active site for physical files and physical document sets.
Example 1: Label Printing on a Document Set
- Log into the Active Site
- Create a document set content type in the active site
- Create a SharePoint document set in document library using this content type
- Add a document to the document set and wait until the File is processed intro RecordPoint
- Open the document set in the active site and convert it to hybrid
- Select RecordPoint Tab
- Click Manage File
- Click Edit File
- Select the default RecordPoint Physical Content type
- Click OK
- Click Save
- Log into RecordPoint site and confirm document set is 'Physical'
- In the Active Site on the RecordPoint Ribbon, the Labels button is available
Example 2: Label Printing on a Document Set
- Log into the Active Site
- Create a doc set content type in the active site including a field named 'Record Format' with default value to be 'Physical'
- Create a Physical Content Type in RecordPoint with same name as 3. base non electronic record
- Create a SharePoint doc set in document library using this content type
- Log into RecordPoint site and confirm doc set is 'Physical'Â
- Select Physical Doc Set in Active Site
- Click on RecordPoint Ribbon
