Non Electronic Label Printing from the Active Site

RecordPoint now supports the ability to print the labels from the Active site for physical files and physical document sets.

Example 1: Label Printing on a Document Set

  1. Log into the Active Site
  2. Create a document set content type in the active site
  3. Create a SharePoint document set in document library using this content type
  4. Add a document to the document set and wait until the File is processed intro RecordPoint
  5. Open the document set in the active site and convert it to hybrid
    1. Select RecordPoint Tab
    2. Click Manage File
    3. Click Edit File
    4. Select the default RecordPoint Physical Content type
    5. Click OK
    6. Click Save
  6. Log into RecordPoint site and confirm document set is 'Physical'
  7. In the Active Site on the RecordPoint Ribbon, the Labels button is available

Example 2: Label Printing on a Document Set

  1. Log into the Active Site
  2. Create a doc set content type in the active site including a field named 'Record Format' with default value to be 'Physical'
  3. Create a Physical Content Type in RecordPoint with same name as 3. base non electronic record
  4. Create a SharePoint doc set in document library using this content type
  5. Log into RecordPoint site and confirm doc set is 'Physical' 
  6. Select Physical Doc Set in Active Site
  7. Click on RecordPoint Ribbon
