RecordPoint allows browsing of content using Facets. Facets can be used to refine a set of results based on multiple criteria e.g. Format and Classification. The type of item (Record, File or Box) browsed, determines the availability of certain facets.

The search option allow the searching of all RecordPoint content based on Metadata values. The search type (Record, File, Box) selected will determine the level of records returned within the search results. Advanced search allows the searching of records, files and boxes based on its contents and additional multiple criteria to improve searches.

In both the browse and search function, queries can be saved and reused.
