RecordPoint Navigation Bar
The RecordPoint navigation bar is used to navigate between the different RecordPoint components. It is divided into six areas:
- RecordPoint (Dashboard)
- Records
- Search
- Rules
- Disposal
- Non Electronic
- Reporting
- Management
RecordPoint (Dashboard)
The Dashboard link is to the RecordPoint ‘homepage’.
Records
The browser link provides a mechanism for browsing RecordPoint information from three perspectives – by record, by file, or by box.
In addition to browsing records, this link allows the creation of physical records, files and boxes.
Search
The Search link provides a mechanism for searching for records managed by RecordPoint. Depending on the kind of item required, select either Record, file, Box or advanced search.
Rules Manager
The Rules Manager link provides access to the three components that enable the capturing and classification of SharePoint content (Rules, Patterns and Outcomes).
Disposal
The Disposal link provides the ability to run disposition reports and dispose of records and files.
Non Electronic
The non-electronic link gives access to the configuration of physical boxes, files and records.
Reports
This link gives access to the reports. Reporting templates that have been developed using SQL Reporting Services. NB, needs SQL Reporting Services Plug-in installed for SharePoint.
