Exporting Records, File and Boxes
Exporting to Server Path
RecordPoint allows the exporting of records by level of aggregation (box, file or record). To perform an export, a location must be specified for export.
In RecordPoint:
- Under the Management→ Settings
- Select General Settings
- Under Export Type select Server Path
- Update the Export Location Field and select Update
- Refresh the cache
- From the Navigation Panel use the Browser or Search feature to locate the item to be exported
- Save results by selecting Save Query from the RecordPoint Ribbon
- Provide a Name, Description and Category
- Click Save
- From the Navigation Panel
- Select Export Records Under the group Disposal
- Under Record Type, select the Level of Aggregation to be exported (Record, File or Box)
- From your Saved Search, navigate through and select the item for export
- Click Export
- The item is now queued for export to the location specified
Export to Azure Storage file service
RecordPoint allows the exporting to an Azure Storage file service. This allows for flexible and secure records export to an enterprise cloud storage location.
In RecordPoint:
- Under the Management→ Settings
- Select General Settings
- Under Export Type select Azure Storage Account
- Update
- Storage Account Name
- Storage Account File Share Name
- Storage Account Access Key
- Select Update
- Refresh the cache
- From the Navigation Panel use the Browser or Search feature to locate the item to be exported
- Save results by selecting Save Query from the RecordPoint Ribbon
- Provide a Name, Description and Category
- Click Save
- From the Navigation Panel
- Select Export Records Under the group Disposal
- Under Record Type, select the Level of Aggregation to be exported (Record, File or Box)
- From your Saved Search, navigate through and select the item for export
- Click Export
- The item is now queued for export to the location specified
