Delete a Record in RecordPoint

Behaviour of NAP Delete on Electronic Records from RecordPoint

• Any stored binary will be deleted from RecordPoint;
• The item will have the Disposal Status 'Disposed' with a Disposal Action of 'Delete'; 
• The item on the active site will remain intact; and
• RecordPoint will accept no further submissions of the item.

Behaviour of NAP Delete on Physical Records from RecordPoint

• It will dispose of all content managed by RecordPoint; and
• The actual physical items associated with the deleted record will still exist and will need to destroyed.

Delete a Record in RecordPoint

1. Log into the RecordPoint site and navigate to the record browser
2. Select the record you wish to delete
3. Click the delete button on the far right of the 'RecordPoint' ribbon
4. Fill in all required fields and click save
