The search option allows the searching of all RecordPoint content based on Metadata values. The search type (Record, File, Box) selected will determine the level of records returned within the search results. Advanced search allows the searching of records, files and boxes based on its contents and additional multiple criteria to improve searches.In both the browse and search function, queries can be saved and reused.
The property search section can be configured by the Form Fields area. The Search button for the Property Search Criteria area performs a search for only items matching that of the property search area. The Search button for the Advanced Search Criteria performs a search for only items matching that of the Advanced Search Criteria search area. Clicking the Advanced Search button clears the Property Search Criteria field values and clicking the Property Search button clears the Advanced Search Criteria field values.

- A maximum of 10 search criteria fields

- A property drop down picker that lists all RecordPoint indexed fields.
- A match type drop down picker with the following values
- Contains
- Equal
- Does not equal
- Performing a save query will save the query of the most recently issued search.
- Advanced search criteria will search indexed and non indexed content.
How to search by a record, file or box using Advance Search Criteria
In RecordPoint:
- From the Navigation Panel
- Under Search, select Record, File or Box Search
- Under 'Advanced search criteria'
- Pick Property
- A match type drop down picker with the following values
- Contains
- Does not equal
- Equal
- Add search text
- Ability to combine up to 10 search properties by
- And
- Or
