Export search results in excel format

When viewing search results from either a saved query or by a browse/search, it is possible to select items and export into an excel format. It is also important to note that any of the options available from the record dropdown menu are also available from the RecordPoint ribbon.

Exporting to excel

To export returned search results, in RecordPoint:

  1. Perform a Record Search
  2. Results based on search criteria will be returned
  3. Check the boxes next to each result you wish to export
  4. Select Export button from the RecordPoint ribbon
  5. Select Selected
  6. Click Open
  7. The search results will now open in Excel
