RecordPoint 4.01

Introduction
RecordPoint for SharePoint version 4.01 brings new enhancements aimed at improving system, administrative and management processes with specific focus on performance, security, deployment, and records administrative tasks.
Changes in this version affect Active Site users, Record Management teams and System Administrators. To make the most of these updates you may wish to communicate these changes to users within your organisation and in particular any features or settings requiring action by an administrator before users can benefit from the new functionality.
These release notes are aimed at describing at a high level, the new and modified features available in this release. For more detailed information, please refer to the 4.01 release section on our Customer Support Portal.
Before deploying this release, we recommend following a best practice deployment process, which includes thorough testing in a non-production environment.

In this version, all visual elements in the product have been given a visual update. The changes are purely cosmetic; this means there are no changes to the underlying business processes.

New Feature: High Priority Processing available for RecordPoint site operations
High Priority Processing (HPP) enables administrative targeting of specific RecordPoint queues for priority processing. Once enabled the targeted queue is processed in parallel, significantly lowering processing time for that queue.

New Feature: ADFS Group support
It is now possible to use ADFS windows identity to access and manage RecordPoint through the use of group claims.

Resolved in Release
Release 4.01 for SharePoint includes all bugs resolved and new features since RecordPoint for SharePoint 3.97.
Specifically the following issues are resolved in this release:
- Bulk Edit updates the Content Type even when the field is not selected.
- Recently updated Files\Boxes are not retrieved from the SharePoint search index.
- Browser pages do not reflect the latest information when multiple RecordPoint storage sites are being managed.
- Line returns are removed from multi-line text fields when creating or modifying Non-Electronic records.
- RecordPoint field Record Created is not displayed with respect to its time zone.
