Introduction


The RecordPoint for SharePoint Health Check has been designed by RecordPoint to help determine whether an environment is working as expected. RecordPoint is tightly integrated with SharePoint and it is important that the configuration is scanned for both environments to ensure they are talking to each other.

The RecordPoint for SharePoint Health Check covers the following areas;

  • Server;

  • Central Administration;

  • RecordPoint; and

  • SharePoint.

These areas will be reviewed for any issues in accordance with the hardware, system and application configuration requirements. It is recommended that your SharePoint Administrator performs the health check in the Environment.

Prerequisite for performing the Health Check


The main prerequisite for performing the Health Check of your Environment is that the user performing the Health Check must be a SharePoint Administrator having full rights to administer

  • Central Administration

  • Web Front End Server

  • Application Server
